What the f**k maan! The film is a sure sooper duper hit gopetta! You made me cry from the beginning till the end!!Awesome actors especially Berkin, Sunil and Guru! Am at a loss for words to praise the efforts put in by the entire team! This is going to create waves for sure!
Hi Gopa,
Well made film! Packaging is very good! Pretty Promising!
. My perception!
Things to look out for:
I found it a bit slow…… as it is a short film, if the story moved a little faster, it would be more absorbing.
The scene where Prabhu takes Shiva’s call while in Mahesh’s house…he puts up his hand on the wall while talking…I found that very artificially dramatic
The first scene where Mahesh stabs Prabhu could do with a slightly better lighting.
Rest is great!
Cheers,
Meghna
finally, i watched ur first short film, gopsi. my loss, of course, to not have managed it sooner.
damn neat, pal. pretty engaging set up, good realistic lighting, interesting camera angles, fair acting, v nice musical score.. overall, very good for ur first short firm…. i too felt the build up (the two friends out on the bike) was a tad too long vis-a-vis the overall length. plus i wish the movie was longer, and there was more to watch, which is great.:)
congratulations to each person associated in any big or small way, and u, of course!:)
and dude, go all out for your big project! u’re ready. my best to u.
hey thanks Shalini! Better late than never
Its very encouraging and yup will soon have something more for everyone’s eyes!
Gopakumar,
Loved the trailer and your movie : am amazed as I understood this is your really first short movie, where is the next one? Any plan to make a sequel or else ?
I can imagine the crew had some challenges to film outdoors and indoors : this make the journey even better ;o)
Just curious, how long does it took you in post-production ?
Keep on going and when you are ready : http://www.shortfilmdepot.com

cheers,
Somewhere in Europe.
Its a pleasure to have your feedback Ralph! Very motivating. No sequel pld for sure but ya definitely will start work on the next short film.
Thanks for sharing this shortfilm forum url… Scanned through and guess one of the categories will be suitable for us.
Keep watching and sharing
Hi Gopa,
I hardly check the gmail, Finally figured out post the comment
I watched the movie and it has come out great…!!!
will call you to discuss more on that
Karthik
Thanks Karthik! Do share your feedback when time permits.
Hi all,
Gr8 effort. It was very professional. I watched the film couple of weeks back and I know its pretty late that I’m posting my comment
First of all, I felt so happy to see the crew with all the well known faces onscreen and behind screen.
Gops- kudos! Very crsipy with a good message for the current scenario. Revenge takes you nowhere! It was short yet well conveyed climax. Whenever it comes to a message, I have seen short films whiling at the end to convey it. Your climax was amazing. Good background score and ATD in areas like – adding a dog barking sound, scar on Mahesh’s face after he was hit – marks professionalism
I can keep on adding..its a comment area so restricting..:-)
Mahesh – Enna oru villathanam actingla. kalakura… I really cudn’t relate with the Mahesh who was fun. Amazing. Carved a place for yourself in acting
Purush: Hey glad to see u in the area u love to work. scenes taken in the night light was Ammmmazing. no words to say. I loved it even while I watched the trailer.
Dhana: How many days were u waiting to hit Vivek like that.
To all the crew ..it was wonderful film.
Sri- I think the room and stairs was your house. Public relations kalakureenga. I’m sure u wud have enjoyed it.
-Yamini
Thanks Yams, this is real motivating!
Wow! The film seems to be the work of an experienced filmmaker but its your first film!! The film has a message to the youth whose main problem is being hasty-nasty. Though the Intro scene of the two friends is a bit long, we realise it is to show their closeness….the music and the clicking of the camera introducing the actors is catchy………..and when both their faces are clicked, says “introducing Vivek” …overall outstanding work……congrats to the crew…Actors have great potential…prabhu is a chullan…probably because of his character portrayed!!
I feel your work should be recognised by audience on a wider scale.
Gopettaa…..this is just a beginning….all the best for your future projects…Waiting for more to come! You will definitely rock as usual….!!
Hey,
good effort, gr8 music all together good screen play…..
Only one thing i need to mention,
may avoided strong words, and i think you can make the screen play to forecast some message to the society….
Its really good try, if u added the above steps too it will be 2 catchie………….
Best of luck to the whole teame for your future……….
Thanks Mahesh!
A fantastic first effort and I agree with Ajita that the intro is a bit log. I loved the background score.
All the best for the next one!
Thanks Meenakshi! Point taken
Awesome..Awesome…Awesome..
What a great first effort.. too good.. A BIG CONGRATS to the entire team and specially to you Gops for conceptualizing and visualizing this film.
I loved the opening scene, the introductions, the background score, the stylization of the entire movie, the amazing climax, and the lovely characterization.
Way to go Gops!! I simply loved it.
)
So, when is the next one coming??
Thanks Harpreet! Sure enough a motivating feedback and glad to see our first venture getting such reviews
Just hang on to c what next and when!
The intro is a tad too long. I think sometime could have been devoted from that to add more suspense elements to the story.
Nice effort overall. Background score is great. Best Wishes
Thanks Ajita! Yup feedback taken.
